St. Barts Cruise

Post by twomanymontes » Sat Aug 15, 2015 5:56 pm

Matt and I made a last minute decision and went to the St. Bart's Church cruise today. Hung out with Donny and Rich for a bit while we wondered around. Small cruise, but everything was free. Matt and I got door prizes and Donny took home an award. It was a little too hot to be hanging out today, so we took off a little early. Small Cruise of about 40 cars and about a half dozen bikes.

Probably do it again next year.

Hot is right ! We were all set to go till my daughter ( Laura) came down from Ogdensburg. We all hung at Andie's house till we got home when Ro and I are now hitting the pool. It sounded like a nice show but only 40 cars ?

BTW: Went to K&S from 11-1 this morning. They only had 20 cars ! I had to leave early but it was boring as hell without any of you guys there.

LOL! Matt and I went to the junkyard this morning. It was nearly unbearably muggy! Didn't find anything for my truck, but did get an idea for the trap door idea for the SS

Also found a 4th gen Monte there. Grabbed the fenders and hood. Almost grabbed the Heat only HVAC box.

That was a last minute deal. Got a call from Darren about the Monte there Friday night. Besides, I didn't want to have to cut the lawn, LOL!

Couldn't make it this year. I have friends up from PA and down from Canada this week end.

1st time I went. Nice goodie bags and plenty of free food. Only thing was that it was super hot with not much of a breeze.

Saturday felt like one of the hottest days of the year. Super humid.
