Winter Wheels

Post by petegee77 » Sat Oct 17, 2015 9:43 am

A friend of Ro's is selling their 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4 . They bought a newer Jeep so obviously they like the product line. I've heard the Jeep run and the engine sounds great. Real nice and smooth. Would make a great winter car especially being a 4X4.
Here are the details: 6 cylinders
176,000 miles
Color is blue
Automatic tranny
New starter and brakes
FM/CD player with USB plug in for electronic devices
$ 2395 or B/O

I will ask around. I'm not looking for any more cars. I just got my grandmother's car back and have to figure out where that is going to be stored this winter.

Thanks Dave. If I needed a car this would be it. I've always had a "thing' for the older Cherokees. I bought several at Adesa and flipped them. Great for the winter. In fact my Patriot is based on it.

Me too! They were always a cool off road truck. And they were so easy to work on. The hardest thing is changing the radiator!

Should have posted this earlier: The Cherokee has been sold. Nice deal for who ever bought it.

Well, I guess at 10 o'clock at night, I didn't read it properly, LOL! I was thinking the Patriot or some reason. I'm shot! Two days sitting in a class room helped the muscles, but the brain is still fried! LOL!

That's a really good deal. I recall the time when we bought a set of Bridgestone's Blizzak tires from 4WheelOnline as replacement tires for my dad's Toyota Land Cruiser a year ago.
