How many different positions can there be?? Can you just cycle through options until it works?

8 switches, But I have it set in 4 cyl mode currently [it was in the Fiero]. That's switches 1 and 2 in the up position and all the rest in the down. So that rules out all up for 8 cyl. I found AutoMeter settings, but nothing that matches the SunPro.

Well, this little project works! Tonight, I came home and mounted it to the A pillar. Then got curious and wired up the power and ground to be sure the gauges turn on. They did. So I went and hooked up the tach wire and fired the car. It was reading 7,000 RPMs so I know that was off. I played with the switches for a bit and now it seems like it's close. Idling at 1900-2200 RPMs cold and choke on. I need to hook up my timing light to check it for sure. Then I said, why not? I hooked up the wire to the O2 sensor. And it looks awesome! I didn't get to take any pics because it was getting dark. I will one of these nights.

All I have left is to run the corrugated tubing over the wires under the hood and to zip tie the wires under the dash. Maybe tomorrow night.

Got home late from Moms tonight, SO I didn't get to mess with it. I did get the tubing over the wires. Then I had to make dinner for Matt and I so it's on hold till next week. Heading to PA to visit some Monte Buddies this weekend.

Yesterday marked 26 years with the Mistress. I didn't even get a chance to get out there and take a pic. Maybe by this weekend.

Well, I managed to get into the garage for a moment today and got some pics.
Last night, We got Matt's car out and I swapped over the wheels and fixed his headlight issue.

So now it's tighter than ever in there.

Here it is mounted

And with it running.

Still need to get the new headlights in as well as the radiator support cross bars. But I think that may wait till May when we get warmer weather. Right now I need to concentrate on getting the 01 and Matt's Monte ready for the Glen next week.

Managed a few minutes today to work on the 86. Swapped over 2 head lights and wired in the HIDs. I will try to finish up the other side later this week

I'm assuming the new headlights are brighter?
Were they just bolt in & go or did you have to install this HIDs in a housing?

The headlights housings are a lot clearer and they come with H4 Bulbs which are an upgrade over the standard Halogen sealed beams. I added the HIDs because it makes it a lot brighter.

The housings are a direct replacement.

No harness. The 86 is not a CAN BUS vehicle, LOL! I did however have to swap terminals in the wiring that came with the HID kit.

I spent all evening cutting lawns, so I'm hoping tomorrow I can get the other side done. I also picked up a electronic turn signal flasher tonight. Once the LEDs are installed, they won't draw enough power to heat up the bi metal strip in the old style flashers. They will just stay on all the time without it.

I got an electronic flasher at Pep Boys, I tried it in Matt's car, but his batter was dead, so I'm not sure if it will work Had to help Mom out tonight so I got home late. Maybe tomorrow after work I will see what happens.

LOL! Yeah, I remember. It's all about trial and error.

Last night I did get the other head lights done. I still need to mount the HID transformers. I need to jack up the car and crawl under to see where I can mount them. The transformers are a nice looking chrome piece, so I thought I'd mount it where they can be seen. But due to the short wiring, and the fact that the battery covers the passenger side, I figure to hide them would be best.
