Clutch Artists Canalside car show

Post by twomanymontes » Sat Jul 30, 2016 11:49 pm

Sunday August 14th Canalside, down by the Battleship and Skyway. Last year's show was a lot of fun. Hot, but lots of fun. Matt and I will be going, hoping a few other will join us. Need to get there early because it fills up fast.

I will try and figure out a meeting place, so if anyone is interested, post here.

Matt mentioned this when I talked to him Friday. It's a possibility, depending with what Ro's family has planned, since I have nothing planned for that day. That's the same day as the Old's Fantasy Island Show and I am NOT going to get locked in for all day.

Yeah, I gave up on the Fantasy Island show when Matt got too old for the place.

This show is Sunday! Jack Matt and I are going as long as it isn't raining.

We need to be down there really early because it fills up fast. I plan on meeting at the Blvd mall for 8am.

I'm out. Checked with Ro and we've got tickets to the Bisons game at 1pm. Only been to one game this year out of the 5 we had tickets for.

That's OK Pete, if you get bored at the game, were just 2 blocks away, LOL!

I forgot all about posting last week.

We had a great day! The clouds were keeping the place shaded for the most part. but no rain. We actually had the best spots on the grounds! Ok, not technically the ground. We were on the boardwalk. I saw water through the spaces between the beams. But we had the USS Little Rock and the USS Sullivans behind us.

Matt, Jack and I took home "Top 50" awards. We had plenty of people talking and checking out our cars.

Bison game wound up being a double header. It didn't get over till after you guys left. Pawtucket dropped both games :(

Thanks for the pics Dave. Nice to see that both Tim and Jack made it too. I'll have to put this show on my "must do" list for next year.

Its a perfect venue for a show. We had a blast as well as were able relax too. We will be there next year for sure.
